Collingwood Clock Tower

This was a photograph taken on an old Polaroid Land Camera by Christa who then transferred the image onto water colour paper. Once the image was dry she then made a digital copy. It was tweaked in photoshop and this is the end result.

Photographing Jazzmainia in Thornbury

Last night Jazzmania came to Thornbury. This was a big event for us last year as it was where we met up with the editor of The On The Bay Magazine. We were shooting for mycollingwood.ca. This year shooting was more challenging than last with very crowded venues and poor lighting. It gave Christa and I an opportunity to experiment with some off camera flash with some pretty cool results. These are some of our favorites.

Niagara Escarpment Framed Photograph

This was a photograph taken from The Irish Mountain B&B which was voted as one of the best views for a B&B in North America (8th). I think you can see why. It was taken looking toward The Blue Mountain in Collingwood in November when we stayed at the B&B for my birthday.

Spring Comes to Georgian Bay

Finally the snow has melted. Unfortunately the fact it's melted all at once has made for a lot of flooding.

I snapped this image in the way back from a shoot in Owen Sound last week.
