Dr Draw @ Wasaga Beach

Friday night we went to Wasaga Beach to cover the opening night of the Wasaga Beach Fest. This was the first time we'd heard Dr Draw, a band from Montreal. They were fantastic. You can hear some of their tunes here.

Octopus

When I was returning from the Golden Princess I had time to kill in Seattle before catching my flight in the evening. So I headed into Seattle... loved the place, and the went to the aquarium. It was brilliant but this octopus stole the show for me. It was fantastic in a mysterious spooky way!

Exhibition at Salon Blue

Our Photographs are now hung on walls of Salon Blue. Both Christa and I are delighted with the results. I even made the frames, which was a little worrying but they look fantastic, well for a beginner anyway. We're still waiting for the Canvas Prints which will provide the finishing touches for us. These four photographs almost made it but for various reasons didn't. Mainly because they couldn't take being enlarged to 16x20, however, they look pretty good here.If you'd like to see more of the short list, as well as some that were chosen take a look at our website and click on Galleries/Exhibitions or for a more comprehensive selection you can go here.

Tracy Arm and The Sawyer Glacier

I'm back in Alaska on the Golden Princess leading another training course for the photography department. This time we've had some spectacular weather especially when we went into Tracy arm and saw the Sawyer Glacier. Apparently there's only about 12 days a year when it's like that so we were very lucky.
