This was out first wedding held at The Georgian Bay Club. It is an amazing place and a fantastic location to get married. It was also our first properly wet wedding. We'd photographed a few with drips of rain but this time it really threw down with vengeance. It didn't dampen anyone's spirits though and Meg and Jeremy's love for each other was evident throughout the day. Thanks for including us. Here's a few of our favourites from the day.
Michael was another "I don't photograph well guy"... Christa and I would disagree :) We took Annette and Michael to a couple of our favourite locations as well as a new one I found earlier that week. It was a lot of fun, looking forward to their wedding in September.
Anne and Paul live in Alberta and returned to Ontario to get married. We were lucky with the weather and it behaved until we were inside. Here's some of our favourites from the day.
The more we do this, take the journey with couples through their wedding day, the more it becomes obvious that great wedding photography is a collaborative effort. We take a great deal of pride in always doing the best we can in any set of circumstances. That said, it is when we are included in the day, given time to do what we do and trusted that photography far from the ordinary occurs. So thank you Craig and Janelle, you guys have set the bar for us and I have a feeling your benchmark will be the one for a long time to come. We hope you enjoy the photographs as much as we enjoyed the day.
We knew Craig from working on Cruise ships, he was a videographer. So we were really chuffed when he and Janelle asked us to photograph their wedding. They were married at Cobble Beach, which is a relatively new golf club up in Owen Sound. We were a little worried in the morning as the weather was atrocious, thunder and lightning accompanied by really heavy rain. However, by the time the ceremony came around their was hardly a cloud in the sky. It really was a magic wedding and we had a wonderful time. Thanks so much guys you were awesome. Here's a few teasers.
Our youngest couple to get married this year did so in style. Interestingly they are also the only couple we have photographed so far who have a full set of grandparents from both sides of the family. Bodes well for the future. Anyway, we wish them long lives and happiness. Here's the slideshow from the day.
Katie & Carlos are getting married at the end of September. They live in Alberta where they are working towards acquiring their MA/PHD. They took a week off to come to Toronto to make sure mum had everything in hand for the wedding - which by the sound of it she does - and also get one of our pre-wedding shoots done.
We went down to Toronto and discovered High Park is a lovely place for photography.
