Collingwood This Weekend

Christa occasionally shoots for the Enterprise Bulletin, which is one of Collingwood's local papers. This weekend however, their regular photographer was on holiday and so they asked Christa to shoot this weekends news worthy events for them.

The weekend started on Friday night shooting the Wasaga Beach Snowman Mania kick off event followed by the Collingwood Blues game at the Eddie Memorial Ice Rink here in Collingwood. On Saturday Christa visited Wasaga Beach, more snowman fun, Creemore for a book signing, The Village of the Blue Mountain for The PRIMTIME Slip 'N Slime Competition and finally visiting Clarksburg near Thornbury for a gallery opening. Sunday she was back in Wasaga Beach shooting auditions for "Who Killed Elvis", and in the evening was back in Clarksburg shooting "A Midsummer Nights Dream" performed by The Acting Out Youth Theatre Company. All in all a busy weekend

On Friday we had the pleasure of Photographing a lovely couple who were celebrating 50 years of marriage with their family. People had flown in from as far away as China to be there. It promised to be a rambunctious celebration.

Christa and I returned from two weeks in Cuba. We had a great time traveling and photographing the people and places we saw. Must say though it's good to be back in Collingwood even if it is somewhat colder.
