It's been a quiet few weeks here at Isis, lots of stuff going on behind the scenes but not that much shooting. One of the most exciting developments is that we will be exhibiting at the newly renovated Salon Blue here in Collingwood. A number of our favorite photographs from our travels over the last eight years of travel will be exhibited. These are a few of the images we are thinking of including. The exhibition should be in place by the end of June.
Wednesday evening saw our first session shooting portraits for a couple over, in Thornbury just outside Collingwood using our new white background. Still learning how to get the best from it but we are quite pleased with the results. Grant and Lee-Ann were very sporting and we all had lots of fun, particularly trying to out the backdrop away. Once you know how its very easy, until you do know, it's not!
Here's a small selection of images from the Fashion Show we shot last night. It was hosted by Christie's Clothing store who are based downtown Collingwood. The show was at The Osler Brook Golf & Country Club. Thankfully not too many close check patterns!
Blue Mountain Golf & Country Club hosted The Rotary Clubs annual Nosing and Noshing fund raiser for The Collingwood General and Marine Hospital Foundation . Though I can claim Scottish ancestry from both my grandfathers last night was the first time I had the pleasure of seeing a Haggis Blessed. The words from the great Scottish poet Robert Burns were delivered authentically and with great drama as the photographs show.
