On Thursday night On The Bay Magazine held it's annual award ceremony at Cafe Chartreuse in Collingwood. They are held in order to honor the freelance contributers to the magazine, be they photographers, writers or illustrators. Isis Photography won three awards, best cover photograph (Holiday Issue 2007), best action photo (The Sky's The Limit, Holiday Issue 2007), Best people photo (Grassroots Heros, Holiday Issue 2007). We were thrilled and honored to be recognized. Christa and I both aspired to contributing to the magazine when we first arrived in Collingwood. In our minds it was, in terms of the quality of photography and content, leaps and bounds above the local competition. So not only to be contributing but also winning awards from them is brilliant. Derek Trask and Bryan Davies were also recognized for their photographic contributions as well.
