Photo Course on the Grand Princess

Just returned from a week leading a training course on the Grand Princess. I was on the Grand for the Millennium celebrations working as a photographer so it was interesting to be back on board as a trainer. This time she was sailing from Galvastan, Texas to Costa Maya, Roatan, Belize City, Cozumel and then back to Galvastan. I always enjoy these training course. It's great to see new people joining the company excited to be there and taking in the sites and sounds of new places they've not seen before.

The cruise was made more exciting by the fact that two passengers fell overboard on the first night and were, five hours later, rescued. Incredible work by the ships company to find two people in the middle of the night. They went over at around 1am and were picked up at 6am.

It is good to be back home. During April I am going to try and make contact with wedding planners in Toronto and at various resorts around the area here in Collingwood. If people don't know we are here then they can't benefit from out services and that would be a shame. It will also be a good opportunity to pick the brains of people who know what's going on and what people are looking for from their wedding photographers.

We have been booked to shoot a 60th Wedding Anniversary Celebration on May 16. It is always lovely to see people who have made it through life together for so long and to be a part of their special day is a great privilege.
